Kamal Nath calls on MLAs to strengthen party in constituencies

NEWLY appointed Madhya Pradesh Congress President Kamal Nath convened party MLA squad meeting on Wednesday night. Kamal Nath asked party MLAs to strengthen party organisation in their respective constituencies. Likewise, MLAs were asked to suggest over how to revive inactive units of party.Kamal Nath also gave a new slogan to party MLAs to attack BJP led State Government. He said that Congress fight is against conspiracy, money and muscle power hence, every party worker has to cement party position at grass root level so that no one can beguile the people and will impact the winning prospectus of party.


He also asked party MLAs to be equally focused on neighbouring assembly seats. “Our main target is to free Madhya Pradesh from BJP,” he asserted.He underlined that every MLA should prepare a strategy over how to win the election and should work to strengthen the party position in his constituency. Moreover, he suggested party MLAs that instead of believing more in criticism, they needs to inform people what party plans to do for people. He also sought suggestion from party MLAs for party’s manifesto.Later, Leader of Opposition Ajay Singh tabled the proposal to thank Rahul Gandhi for giving the reins of State Congress into the hands of Kamal Nath and appointing Jyotiraditya Scindia as Chairman of Campaign Committee. The thanks giving proposal was passed with sound votes.
