18,842 students appear for CGPET; 13,979 for PPHT

Highest 3,614 students from Durg appeared for Chhattisgarh PET

As many as 18,842 candidates turned up for Chhattisgarh Pre-Engineering test (PET) conducted at 65 examination centres in 27 districts of the state. Similarly, 13,979 students appeared for Chhattisgarh Pre-Pharmacy Test (PPHT) held at 51 centres across the state. Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CGPEB) conducted these examinations in two shifts – PET from 9 am to 12.15 pm followed by PPHT from 2 pm to 5-15 pm.

A total of 21,771 students were enrolled for Chhattisgarh-PET of which 2,929 were absent. Similarly, 15,953 candidates were enrolled for the PPHT of which 1974 were absent. The highest 3,614 candidates turned up for CGPET examination in Durg district followed by the second highest 3,361 was recorded in Raipur.

On the other hand, 2,488 students were registered for PPHT, of which 2204 appeared for the examination. Sukma witnessed the lowest number of students (57) appearing for the PET examination while Bijapur witnessed the lowest number candidates (53) attending the PPHT examination. Durg saw the second highest number of students appearing for PPHT i.e. 1,612.

Bilaspur recorded the third highest number of students (2300) turning up for CGPET. Similarly, the third highest 1612 students had appeared for PPHT in Bilaspur district.
