Review meet held to discuss water crisis in rural areas

Chief Executive Officer of Jila Panchayat, R P Singh chaired a review meeting along with public representatives in District Planning Committee in order to analyse and resolve the problems of drinking water in rural areas.

In this meeting, the group team has analyzed the Nal Jal Yojna and hand pumps installed in gram Panchayats while analyzing the issue of hand pumps, the CEO of Jila Panchayat, instructed the related office bearers to fix the problems due to clogged handpumps and taking quick actions over initiating the plans under Nal Jal Yojna.

He also gave instructions to resolve the pending grievances related to Nal Jal Yojna and made through 70 applications under CM Help Line. He asked the Sarpanch, Secretary, Assistant, Gram Rozgar, Public Health Engineering Department Technician, Mechanics and other teams of gram Panchayats and development block to help the needy when they made repairing work in villages as well as asked the PHE employees to maintain an attendance register for reporting their presence in field. He also instructed to field staff and senior officers of PHE to mention their contact numbers outside on the wall of Panchayat Hall.

During this review meeting under Janpand Panchayat Chichli, village Pipariya Tola, Devri, village Tapariya Tola under Chandankheda gram Panchayat, village Bamanwada under Panchayat Tiktaula and village Bijaura under Janpad Panchayat Chawarpatha are instructed to fix the poor hand pumps, which was installed in these villages before.
