Strengthen Congress at grass root level: Punia to party workers

Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee (CPCC) conducted ‘Sankalp Shivir’ at Patan, Khujji, Balod and Durg Rural assembly constituencies on Thursday.
Addressing the Sankalp Shivir at Mandi campus in Patan, State Congress In-charge P L Punia urged the party workers to strengthen the party at grass root level. Lauding the leadership of Patan MLA Bhupesh Baghel, Punia said, “I see the character of State Congress President Bhupesh Baghel in each party worker of Patan assembly constituency.”


Bahgel spends time in other assembly constituencies of the state to strengthen the party so the party workers should not blame him for not spending time in his assembly constituency. All the party workers in Patan have in them a Bhupesh Baghel and they should work to strengthen the party, he added.


State Congress President Bhupesh Baghel gave the welcome address. Congress Legislative Party (CLP) leader T S Singhdeo, Konta MLA and Deputy CLP leader Kawasi Lakhma, Durg MP Tamradhwaj Sahu, Karuna Shukla, Mohammad Akbar, Dr Shivkumar Dahariya, Ravindra Choubey, Dilip Lahariya, Rajendra Tiwari, Akash Sharma, Neelam Chandrakar, Tulsi Sahu, Mehttar Verma, Jogiram Sahu and others were present. Former Union Minister of State Dr Charan Das Mahant, AICC Secretary Chandan Yadav, CPCC Working President Ramdayal Uike, CPCC’s Communication Department Chairman Shailesh Nitin Trivedi and others addressed the Sankalp Shivir in Khujji assembly constituency.
