Workshop for heads, secretaries of Rajbhasa Committee held at BHEL

A half-day workshop for Head & Secretaries of Departmental Rajbhasa Committee was held the other day at ITS conference Hall BHEL (Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited)Bhopal. On this occasion Harish Singh Chauhan, Assistant Director (Regional Rajbhasa Implementation Division, Central Zone, GOI) was present as the Chief Guest. M Halder, General Manager (Feeders) presided over the program while M Isadore, AGM (HRM) was especially present in the program.

Chauhan in his address briefed the gathering about various constitutional provisions, annual program, quarterly report filing and other important aspects. He further said that apart from constitutional need, Rajbhasa Implementation is our moral responsibility and we all should honestly implement it in every area of our work. Halder presiding over the program said that Rajbhasa “Hindi” is playing the role of the link language in binding the entire nation in one thread and it is a matter of pride for us. In recent times Hindi has started gaining traction across the world and is also flexing its arm in areas of business operations, added Halder.

The Importance of Hindi. Hindi is an ancient language that has not only had tremendous impact on world history, but continues to have tremendous impact on the world today. TheHindi language is very old, and has a direct line of evolution to Sanskrit.Addressing the gathering Isadore said that we being a government organisation, it is our responsibility to work as well as promote the language to the highest extent possible. He further said that the language of the land gives the nation its identity.

Earlier, S Poonam Sahu, Sr. Rajbhasa Officer informed the gathering of various motivational policies implemented in BHEL, Bhopal and various other new policies under-consideration for implementation. On this occasion in-house Rajbhasa e-patrika “BHEL Bharati”, Press Shop Division’s e-patrika “Punching Darpan” and CIM Division’s e-patrika “Coil Darpan” was also released. The winners of Rajbhasa Vyjayanti contest i.e. Factory Main Stores, Town Administration, Tool & Gauge and SWE also made a presentation on Rajbhasa implementation.
