Bharat Scouts and Guides carry on cleanliness drive at Pulgaon nullah

A team of Bharat Scouts and Guides removed algae from Pulgaon nullah and conducted cleanliness drive. They also removed the bushes grown around the nullah while sanitising the area. State Commissioner of Bharat Scouts Guides Gajendra Yadav; District Commissioner Chandrashekhar Chandrakar; Durg Municipal Corporation Commissioner, SK Sundrani and others also became part of the cleanliness campaign launched by the Bharat Scouts and Guides.


It is worth mentioning that the scouts and guides have launched a citywide cleanliness drive and they are cleaning the ponds while removing algae from them. The Pulgaon nullah from where canal water is discharged was filled with algae and the Bharat Scouts and Guides removed large quantity of algae from it. The citizens also took part in the cleanliness drive and contributed in removal of four dumper algae. Later, the Scouts and Guides also cleared the bushes around the nullah, Navkar building and behind the temple. The team members sanitised the places and collected the garbage. Sanitation Inspector Jasveer Singh Bhuval, Hemant Dewangan, Sunita Bohra and others also participated in the drive.
