30-bed Urban Health Centre dedicated in Gudhiyari

State Health and Family Welfare Minister Ajay Chandrakar has dedicated in Kanhaiyalal ward Gudhiyari a 30-bed Urban Health Centre (UHC), which has been built at cost of Rs 58 lakh.

Through a short film, the people present on the occasion were shown the success as to how a dilapidated building located in Raipur Municipal Corporation Zone-1 has been developed into a well facilitated UHC.

State PWD Minister Rajesh Munat, who presided over the public dedication programme, urged the health minister to build 100-bed hospital in Gudhiyari. Accepting the same, the health minister assured of budgetary provision and initiating the process.

Present in the programme were Raipur Mayor Pramod Dubey, Raipur Municipal Corporation Chairman Praful Vishwakarma, who also expressed their views.
In the municipal ward-12 (Shaheed Manmohan Singh Bakshi ward), Minister Munat performed the ‘Bhoomipoojan’ and also laid foundation for concrete road construction and tarring in the areas on four directions of the Kota locality. Construction of 18.45 kms roads will be done at the cost of near about Rs 5.13 crore.
