IMA greater Bhopal welcomes new president

Indian Medical Association (IMA), Greater Bhopal Branch announced the new executive body of IMA on Sunday. Member of Parliament, Alok Sanjar felicitated Dr Sanjay Gupta, newly appointed president and other staff of IMA.
Doctors presented agitation against the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s statement regarding doctors in London. They stated that the statement has wrongly deemed the selfless servicing behavior of Indian doctors. IMA appealed Mayor ALok Sanjar to convey their message till PM.


Dr Rajeev Gupta, former president of IMA, greater Bhopal branch believes that newly appointed executive body of IMA would surely make IMA touch the heights.
He said maximum private doctors of IMA renders their services in Government hospitals leaving private clinics and hospitals on 9th day of every new month. Doctors are making efforts to follow the appeal of PM Modi yet he is diminishing morale of doctors with such controversial statements.


While, Dr Sanjay Gupta, president of IMA, greater Bhopal branch said IMA is an association of around 3 lakh allopathic doctors. The association includes both private and Government doctors and works for the welfare of both. He mentioned that Government need to think why doctors are not ready to go to rural areas. They need to lure doctors with better compensatory services in the Government Hospitals.


Later, MP and Former President administered oath to newly appointed executive body of IMA which includes secretary of IMA Dr Atul Gupta, Vice President Dr RS Verma and Dr Devesh Palharia, treasurer Dr Narendra Rathore, Clinical Secretary Dr Atulya Sourabh, Additional Secretary Dr Randheer Singh and Dr Rakesh Malviya, Zonal Chairman Dr Susheel Nigam, Dr Shrikant Jain, Dr Rajesh Kanungo, Dr Sanjay Gupta, Dr Majahir Malik and Dr Manoj Verma. Doctors promised the betterment of IMA.
