Kamal Nath participates in labourers’ convention

MADHYA Pradesh Congress President Kamal Nath participated in labourers’ convention in INTUC in BHEL area on Monday. He reckoned various works done by Nehru Government for the welfare of labours by telling that Pandit Nehru did amendments in British laws to provide benefit to labours.


He asserted that assembly elections are knocking the doors. In Madhya Pradesh, every sector including farmers, youths, businessmen and women are worried. Demonetization and GST has left adverse effect on social life. Now the biggest question is of future of labours? Youths want jobs, women need security.


He exhorted that if everyone is united then no one can stop Congress from coming to power. He told that once INTUC leaders have won on Congress ticket from Timarni and Parasia.
Madhya Pradesh Congress in-charge Deepak Babaria told that 53 per cent job opportunities have dried up in Madhya Pradesh. He assured to search methods to end contract labour if Congress comes to power in State.


He alleged that labours rights have slipped into oblivion in Rajasthan, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh. “Labours work like bonded labour in power companies” he quipped.
Leader of Opposition Ajay Singh told that now decision of Madhya Pradesh is in the hands of labours, who have also fought for their rights under the banner of Congress. INTUC leader R D Prajapati said that labours are subject of injustice in BJP regime. On the occasion, Congress media manager Manak Agrawal, Chandraprabhash Shekar, Govind Goyal and others were present.
