Kirana merchants hold seminar on GST

The Nagpur Itwari Kirana Merchants Association organised a seminar on GST and e-Way Bill at Kirana Bhawan, Itwari. In his welcome remarks, Shiv Pratap Singh, Secretary of the Association said that India had adopted new tax regime with the introduction of GST from July 1, 2017 in the country and from May 25, intra-state e-Way Bill was introduced in Maharashtra. Kirana merchants should know details about the two new rules for carrying their business smoothly. This was the primary objective for organising the seminar, he said.

CA Bhavik Panjwani was the keynote speaker on the occasion. With power point presentation, he explained in details about the e-Way Bill and GST. Panjwani also explained the conditions when E-way Bill is required. Panjwani also demonstrated that how can E-way Bill be generated from even the mobile and computer. CA Suraj Satija and CA Piyush Rathi explained about the new provisions in the law.

They also replied to the queries of the Kirana Merchants. Harish Krishnani, President of the Association welcomed the guests. Ashok Wadhwani, Executive Member proposed the vote of thanks. Govind Mantri, Mayur Panchmatiya, Sirishchandra Thakkar, Lalit Kumar Kothari, Nilesh Suchak, Prakashchandra Goyal, Pramod Sedani, Harish Fulwani, Ashok Wadhwani, Ashok Chawla, Deepak Dalwani, Jawaharlal Gupta, Gulshan Sajnani, Rajesh Khakkar, Ramdas Wajani, Bharat Kumar Shah, Ashok Hemnani and over 140 kirana merchants were present at the workshop.
