Shikshakarmis term merger as ‘historic’

Terming the decision of the State Government to merge Shikshakarmis with the Education Department as historic, Shikshakarmis across the State took to streets to celebrate the occasion by bursting crackers and exchanging sweets.
Shikshakarmi (Panchayat/ Nagar Nikay) Morcha State Coordinators Virendra Dubey, Kedar Jain, Sanjay Sharma, Vikas Rajput and Chandradev Rai said that the shikshakarmis across the State have expressed their gratefulness towards the Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh who made the historic announcement in the presence of BJP national president Amit Shah during a public meeting at Ambikapur on Sunday. Besides shikshakarmis, people from different walks of life also welcomed the decision of the chief minister.


The Shikshakarmis state coordinators said that they are hopeful of reaping the benefit of the announcement from this academic session. Also participated in the celebrations were Sharmesh Sharma, Dr Santvana Thakur, Deepika Jha, Chandrashekhar Tiwari, Omprakash Baghel, Jitendra Sharma, Kartik Gaikwad, Tarachand, Bhanu Dahria, Krishraj Pandey, Jharna Jha, Pawan Singh, Dronacharya Sahu, Rakesh Dadsena, Jai Shree Jaiswal, Shikha Parihar and others. Immediately after his announcement, the CM had twitted a Sanskrit verse on the role of teachers in the society. School Education Minister Kedar Kashyap congratulated Shikshakarmis and said that the BJP in the state has always been with the Shikshakarmis. He said that the BJP Government in the state has been taking care of everyone in the society.
