Upper Chief Secy reviews preparations for PM’s visit

All the necessary arrangements are being made on war-footing for the scheduled visit of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi on June 14, 2018. Upper Chief Secretary of Panchayat and Rural Development, Govt of CG, R P Mandal on Sunday convened the meeting of Collector, SP and all other senior officials at Board Room of Bhilai Niwas, who are entrusted with the responsibilities for ensuring apt arrangements, ahead of the forthcoming visit of PM to Bhilai. He also issued instructions for ensuring the grand success of scheduled visit and making apt arrangements at all levels.

He specifically stressed on the necessity of collective efforts of all officials. Panchayat and Rural Development Secretary, P C Mishra also attended the meeting. Collector, Umesh Kumar Agrawal apprised Upper Chief Secretary about the arrangements made for ensuring huge attendance of populace at the avenue of scheduled public meeting.The Collector informed that more than enough transport vehicles are deployed for facilitating people in visiting the avenue of public meeting. At the parking places of vehicles the facilities like drinking water and medical treatment would be specifically made. At each parking place LED TV would be installed for facilitating people who would not be able to reach at the avenue of meeting in time for watching the live broadcast of PM’s speech.

He also informed that the material and certificates would be distributed to the beneficiaries of different government scheme, by the concerning departments at Jayanti Stadium. SP Dr Sanjeev Shukla apprised in detail to the officials about the avenue of public meeting, helipad, parking of vehicles and all security arrangements. Also present in the meeting were Jila Panchayat CEO Gourav Singh along with the CEOs from Rajnandgaon, Dhamtari, Raipur, Balod, and Bemetara, ADM Sanjay Agrawal and several executives from Bhilai Steel Plant and also those from different departments of the government.
After addressing the meeting of officials, Upper Chief Secretary, Mandal personally inspected the avenue of public meeting. He also keenly observed the location of Prime Minister’s arrival inside Bhilai Steel Plant.
