Seoni Collector holds inspection of distt hospital

THE hospital staffers of district hospital were taken by shock after Seoni Collector Gopal Chandra carried out surprise inspection of the hospital. District collector expressed his anger on the inadequate cleanliness and scolded at the cleanliness staff for having failed to maintain the required level of cleanliness in the district hospital. He instructed the civil surgeon to deduct one day salary of cleanliness employees for their apparent failure to keep hospital uncluttered. Collector also took note of non display of consultation time of doctors before their respective chambers. According to information the sudden inspection of district hospital carried out by Collector Seoni Gopal Chandra exposed the level of cleanliness being maintained in the hospital. Collector, who found the hospital campus and patient ward unclean expressed his anger and instructed civil surgeon to deduct one-day salary of cleanliness employees for their apparent failure to keep hospital clean. Taking serious note in lapse in cleanliness he instructed the hospital management to make dress code mandatory for all employees serving for the district hospital.

He instructed the hospital management to make division of work among workers as per shift and cleanliness must be carried out during night as this would not bother patients who visit the hospital during day time. Fumed collector on the issue of cleanliness later inspected other departments of the district hospital and inspected the security arrangement in the district hospital. He inspected the operation of all CCTV installed in the hospital and its monitoring at the control room. He instructed the doctor to put on display their time of consultation as none of the patient should get ever troubled for want of time of consultation with the concern doctor in the district hospital. Allegedly complaint came to fore on non availability of doctors during their schedule working hours in the hospital. This created trouble for people from far off places who having covered long distance were unable to consult the doctor in absence of time schedule. He also inspected the facilities being given by the hospital management to patients and instructed the hospital administration to ensure that optimal facilities are given to patients. On the issue of newly-installed X-ray machine he instructed to ensure that the machine become operational at the earliest. He also visited the blood bank and encouraged youth who came to donate blood at the blood bank. Certificate were given by the collector to blood donors. The website on blood bank was unveiled by the collector on the occasion.
