Amit Shah lays out plan for Mission 2018

National President of Bharatiya Janata Party Amit Shah, on Tuesday, finalised the strategy for Assembly Elections- 2018 in Madhya Pradesh and Lok Sabha Elections- 2019. He chaired the maiden meeting of BJP Election Committee at a hotel in Bhedaghat near Jabalpur. The meeting was significant for Bharatiya Janata Party to kick-start preparations to ensure their fourth consecutive victory in Assembly elections. During the meeting, Chief Minister, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, State President and Member of Parliament Rakesh Singh, National Organisation General Secretary, Ramlal, National Vice-President and State in-charge Vinay Sahastrabuddhe, National General Secretary Anil Jain, Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, National Vice-President and former State President Prakash Jha, Cabinet Minister Narottam Mishra, MP Prahalad Patel, MP Faggan Singh Kulaste, Cabinet Minister Maya Singh, Lal Singh Arya, Bhupendra Singh, Rajendra Shukla and other members attended the meeting. Earlier in the day, Shah was welcomed at Dumna airport and his cavalcade reached at Bhedaghat where Amit Shah, accompanied by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and others, performed worship of Narmada river.

In the three-hour election management meeting, BJP chief, Amit Shah informed about election tactics and election management. He directed the party office-bearers and public representatives for paying special attention to promotion of development and welfare works undertaken by the BJP Government in the State. Shah sought information about ongoing preparations for the forthcoming Assembly elections from public representatives and took suggestions for distribution of tickets to promising candidates. He emphasised over strengthening the party for assembly elections for better preparation of general elections scheduled in the year 2019.
