2017-batch probationer IAS officers pay courtesy call on Governor

The under probation 2017 batch Indian Administrative Service cadre officers paid a courtesy call on Governor Balramji Dass Tandon at Raj Bhawan on Wednesday. The Governor during the meeting extended his best wishes to the officers and stated that they have got the golden opportunity to work for the benefit of people. This opportunity should be utilized in a best possible way through sheer hard work and commitment so that you can become inspiration for others. He said Chhattisgarh is a state with immense possibilities and challenges could be faced while working in different areas here despite which one has to execute his or her duties by giving the best for public welfare. He said since you people are from different states, hence you can even launch good initiatives towards people’s welfare taken in your respective states so that Chhattisgarh and its people benefit from your knowledge and skill.


The probationary IAS (2017 batch) officers were led by Renu G Pillay, Director General and Rajesh Rana, Director and Seema Singh Course Director of Chhattisgarh Administrative Academy. The probationary Indian Administrative Officers (2017 batch) present at the courtesy meeting were Chandrakant Verma presently posted as Assistant Collector Bastar, Rohit Vyas Assistant Collector Rajnandgaon, Akash Chikra Assistant Collector Surguja, Kunal Dudawat Assistnat Collector Bilaspur and Mayank Chaturvedi Assistant Collector Raigarh.
