72 girls leave for experience tour of India-Bhutan Intl Border

Under ‘Maa Tujhe Pranam’ scheme, a group of 72 girls from districts Jhabua, Sagar and Sehore left for experience journey of Jaigaon (West Bengal) India-Bhutan International Border from TT Nagar Stadium, Bhopal on Wednesday.Joint Director Dr Vinod Pradhan entrusted the National Flag to Team In-charge Pradeep Rawat, Assistant Director that will be hoisted on the International Border.Addressing the daughters of the State going on experience tour, Joint Director Dr Vinod Pradhan said that, you all are fortunate enough to have been selected through the lottery for the journey of experience under the ‘Maa Tujhe Pranam’ scheme. He said that the purpose of touring the International Border is to introduce youngsters with the courage of soldiers on duty at borders and to awaken the sense of patriotism among the youngsters.
He told the participants going on the tour that, “you will feel how our young men are working day and night for the security of our country. The Joint Director said that through this visit you are representing the State, it is important to see the glimpses of discipline in your behaviour, conduct and functioning of your work which would increase the pride
of our State”.


He gave his best wishes to all the participants for safe and pleasant journey. On this occasion, the in-charge of the scheme and District Officer, O P Harod, Assistant Director, Vikas Kharadkar, DSO Rewa Rajesh Shakya and other officials
were present.It is worth mentioning that, the implementation of the government’s innovative scheme ‘Maa Tujhe Pranam’ which is the youngsters going on to the experience tour of the international boundaries of the country, is being executed by the Sports and Youth Welfare Department. Scheme Officer-in-charge O P Harold said that the scheme was started from June 10, 2013. Under this scheme, more than 9.5 thousand young people have been given the experience of International boundaries.
