CM reviews preparation at Central Command Centre ahead of PM visit

Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh on Wednesday visited Integrated Command and Control Centre in Naya Raipur to review the preparations for its inauguration. The Integrated Command and Control Centre in Naya Raipur is one of its kind high-tech control centre in the country, which will be dedicated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday during his day-long visit to State. While reviewing the preparations the Chief Minister issued certain directives to the officials. During his visit to the Centre, the Prime Minister will spend approximately 20 minutes, during which a complete presentation about its operations will be made before the Prime Minister.

Through this Command and Control Centre, water supply, power supply, sanitation, traffic movement, integrated building management, city connectivity and internet infrastructure (data centre) and monitoring of complete Naya Raipur will be carried out. The Command and Control Centre will be managed through GIS platform, where the residents can register their complaints regarding service dysfunction through Helpline numbers.

Through this command centre, details, speed and location of all vehicles entering and exiting from Naya Raipur could be recorded. This will not only smooth traffic movements but also be useful in maintaining security as well as law and order
effectively. The centre will also control power and water distribution in buildings in Naya Raipur, control AC systems functioning in government buildings as well as functioning of lift movements. Under the system over 100 quality CCTV cameras have been installed throughout Naya Raipur. The Chief Minister was accompanied by Chief Secretary Ajay Singh, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Aman Singh, Secretary to CM Subodh Kumar Singh, NRDA CEO Rajat Kumar, Collector O P Chaudhary and other senior administrative and police officials.
