In Nagpur Zone, a total of 87,171 taxpayers are required to file monthly GSTR-3B returns excluding the composition dealers and taxpayers whose turnover is below Rs 1.50 crore.
“About 56,141 taxpayers are regularly filing their returns which works out to 64.04 per cent higher than the Maharashtra State average of 57 per cent. Furthermore, the officers contacted each non-filer by SMS or e-mail due to which 37,029 non-filers had successfully filed their returns resulting into depositing a total GST of Rs 1,080 crore,” Pande noted.

On the Inter-State e-Way Bill movement in Maharashtra State which was implemented on April 1 and Intra-State e-Way Bill introduced on May 25, he said, “Both are witnessing a huge success as 99 per cent of the truckers are having the e-Way Bill. The generation of e-Way Bill is being checked on regular basis through selected check posts in Nagpur Zone.”
