Three men nabbed for robbery

Adhartal police succeeded in apprehending three accused red-handed when they were escaping after looting a motorcycle rider near Urdana nullah. Active cop ASI, Tekchand Sharma took prompt action and succeeded in apprehend the three accused after chasing them on a motorcycle. Accused confessed another loot incident near Vehicle turning after stabbing a man with sharp edged weapon.The accused have been identified as Amar Malviya (22), son of Shivshankar Malviya, resident of Cherital, Anand Verm (18), son of Vijay Verma, resident of Cherital and Ankush Rajput (19), son of Leeladhar Rajput, resident of Punjab Bank Colony, Shivdham in Kotwali. Additional Superintendent of Police (City), Deepak Kumar Shukla disclosed this while addressing a press conference, on Friday.

It may be noted that under the direction of Superintendent ofPolice, Shashikant Shukla police have started a rigorous campaign for identification of habitual criminals and collecting information about their current occupations under the supervision of Additional SP (City), Deepak Kumar Shukla, Additional SP (North), Rajesh Tiwari and Additional SP (Crime), Sandeep Mishra.ASP, Deepak Shukla informed that on Thursday afternoon, a man named Kailash Singh, son of Sudarshan Singh, resident of Ambedkar Colony was on the way for working at his site as plumber towards Suhagi on a motorcycle. He was passing through Urdana nullah when three unidentified boys riding on a motorcycle stopped him and asked for route towards Suhagi. He guided them and started his motorcycle when one of the miscreants arrived and looted mobile handset from his pocket and escaped from the spot on their motorcycle. Kailash shouted for help and started chasing them on his motorcycle.Meanwhile, Assistant Sub Inspector, Tekchand Sharma witnessed the incident and started chasing the accused on his motorcycle. He managed to stop the motorcycle of accused on Maharajpur road and succeeded in apprehending the accused. He recovered the looted mobile handset from accused and took them at police station.In further investigation, police learnt that the arrested were involved in stabbing a boy named Ishan Pandey, a resident of New Shobhapur near Panehra petrol pump and looted his mobile handset and cash from him, on May 29. On the achievement, Superintendent of Police, Shashikant Shukla has declared cash reward for policeman. Adhartal police have registered a case against the accused under section 393 of the IPC wile further investigation is underway to disclose more crime incidents from them.
