Singh directs officials to develop tiger safari at Dumna Nature Park

BJP State Chief MP Rakesh Singh, on Friday directed concerned officials to initiate process of developing tiger safari at Dumna Nature Park while addressing meeting of District Coordination and Vigilance Committee.He said that tiger safari is important in perspective of city development and hence, all concerned departments, by making proper co-ordination should work fast for developing the same. Singh also reviewed the progress of Pradhanmantri Awas Yojana, Pradhanmantri Ujjawala Yojana and Pradhanmantri Sahaj Bijli Yojana and gave necessary directions to concerned officials. Singh informed the meeting that he recently held discussion with Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan regarding Tiger Safari. CM had directed to develop it with due support of Forest Department. He said a number of tourists visit Bandhavgarh, Kanha National Party via Jabalpur. After development Tiger Safari they would stay in the city also.
He asked Municipal Commissioner, Chandramauli Shukla to give approval letter on behalf of the Jabalpur Municipal Corporation for Tiger Safari so that further process could be expedited.

Later, he directed for organising camps for distribution of free LPG connections to beneficiaries under Ujjawala Yojana in presence of public representatives. He praised the officials of power distribution company for ensuring cent-pre-cent electrification in the city. He however asked the officials to ensure that if anybody complains that he did not have electricity connection he must be provided connection under Saraj Bijli Yojana.He also stressed the need of Cafeteria at Sangram Sagar pond and gave necessary directions regarding the same. Singh also gave direction for redressal of water problem of Panagar, Barela, expediting works under Pradhanmantri Awas Yojana, Mukhyamantri Jankalyan Yojana, Mukhyamantri electricity bill waiver scheme etc.Amongst those also present on the occasion were President, District Panchayat, Manorama Patel, MLA Anchal Sonkar, Pratibha Singh, Nandani Maravi, Sushil Tiwari, Ashok Rohani, Collector, Chhavi Bhardwaj, Superintendent of Police, Shashikant Shukla, CEO District Panchayat, Harshika Singh, Assistant Collector, B P Dwivedi and others.
