Chief Minister administers oath of sanitation to youths

Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh on Sunday administered oath of sanitation to the youths after inaugurating the livelihood college building.While administering the oath, Dr Singh exhorted them to materialise the dream of Mahatma Gandhi. Youths pledged to work for making their surroundings neat and clean. Notably, this is the state’s first summer internship cum workshop. Youths of Nehru Yuva Kendra, National Service Scheme and Colleges will run an awareness campaign for hand washing, community pond, drinking water sources cleaning, plantation, hand-pump chlorination, street plays, door-to-door contact, and rally.So total 542 youths of the district have registered for the programme. Registration is open up until June 15. Programme was presided over by MP Ramesh Bais whereas special guests were Chhattisgarh Text Book Corporation Chairman Devji Bhai Patel, MLA Shrichand Sundarani, Collector OP Choudhary and Chief Executive Officer Deepak Soni.
