RAEOs’ strike for 3-point demand enters Day 8

THE ongoing strike of Rural Agriculture Extension Officers (RAEO) of Madhya Pradesh entered day 8 on Monday. Protesting against the Government of Madhya Pradesh for not fulfilling promises made to the RAEOs, they are pressing three point demand including equal wage to surveyors.
Even after declaration of Chief Minister and clearance from the cabinet, implementation of the decision was not done. Due to this, ire is growing amongst the employees. In this regard, protesting RAEOs have submitted memorandum to MLA, MPs and administrative officials but no action was taken in regard of the issue.


District President, S K Bandil informed that RAEOs work amongst farmers and provide them right information about advance farming techniques and prevent them from losses due to technical mistakes and losses. Even after contributing in sustaining agriculture production of high standards and with highest production rate the Government is paying no heed to the officials. On the occasion Yogendra Dubey, D K Nema, D S Buchlia, S N Vishwakarma, Govind Bilthare, Rajneesh Tiwari, R K Paroha, Rajbala Gohia, D D Gupta, Anoop Awasthi, Akhilesh Tripathi, Brusbhan Aahirwar, G P Mishra, D K Jain, S K Shrivastava, P K Sharma, J K Kori and others.
