‘Prepare scheme to build small dams for expansion of irrigation facility in Tribal dominant areas’

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has instructed that a scheme should be prepared to build small dams for expansion of irrigation facility in tribal dominant areas. Poor beneficiaries should not face problem in getting payment of MNREGA and Social Security Pension from the banks. All the Collectors should conduct a campaign with the cooperation of Banks in their respective district in this connection and they must ensure that amount reaches in their bank accounts on time. Redressal of forest rights pattas and community claims should be ensured by conducting a campaign. CM Chouhan was addressing through video conferencing under the Samadhan Online programme here on Tuesday. Chief Secretary BP Singh and other Senior Administrative Officers were present on the occasion.


Chouhan further mentioned that permanent solution of border dispute between forest and revenue land should be sought. Cases of land division of joint accounts (Shamil Khata) of tribal should be solved on priority. Prepare a pure potable water scheme through group potable water schemes. Ensure purchase of forest produce on support price. Moreover, prepare a scheme for fencing to avoid loss to crop being caused by wild life in reserve forest and buffer zone. Ensure benefit to the eligible poor beneficiaries under the Pradhanmantri Awas Yojana. Local residents must get employment in small and cottage industries. Activities of self-help groups must be encouraged in these areas. Conduct a campaign to open bank accounts of tribal women.


Ensure better implementation of Mukhyamantri Jan-Kalyan Yojana: CM Chouhan has asserted that Mukhyamantri Jan-Kalyan Yojana is the top priority scheme of the state government. This scheme is meant to bring positive transformation in the life of poor. Therefore better implementation of this scheme should be ensured. This scheme will be launched at all the Janpad headquarters on June 13. The eligible beneficiaries will be benefitted under the scheme. Residential pattas, financial assistance during delivery, medical assistance, assistance for children’ education and family assistance etc. are included in this scheme. A committee comprising 5 members will be constituted to monitor this scheme in all the districts. Amount at the rate of Rs 265 per quintal will be distributed on June 10 to the farmers, who have sold wheat. Programmes will be organised in this connection in all districts and on this day, a sum of Rs 2,100 crore will be deposited in the bank accounts of 10 lakh farmers. Programmes should be organised properly at district level. Moreover, an amount at the rate of Rs. 100 per quintal on the support price of gram, red lentil and mustard will be distributed on June 20. CM Chouhan further mentioned that a strict action should be taken against persons, if they bring wheat in mandis in the name of farmers. Precautionary measures should be ensured in all the districts to tackle flood during the rainy season. In connection to the damage to banana crop in Burhanpur district, he said that full help will be rendered to the affected farmers. The state government is standing beside them in this calamity.
Resolving the problems of applicants: The problems of 13 applicants were resolved through Samadhan Online. The Chief Minister issued directions to suspend two District Coordinators in the case of Su Vandana Tala of Ujjain district who complained of not receiving the inter-caste marriage incentive amount on time. He ordered suspension of concerned Estate Officer for delay in the transfer of Yogendra Rathore’s house at Badwani by the Housing Board Dhar office.
He instructed to issue show-cause notice to the Assistant Director of Minority and Backward Class Welfare Department for delay in payment of incentive to Su Pooja Dhakad of Piparvas village of Sheopur district on passing the State Service Examination. The Chief Minister instructed to plan for improvement in the system in the case of Nahar Singh Chouhan of Badgaon village in Khargone district for not being issued the marksheet of 6 semester on time by the University.
He directed to issue show cause notice to the Additional Director of Higher Education Department in the case of Su Pramila Prajapat of Padar village of Rewa district who did not receive the benefits of Gaon ki Beti Yojana. Likewise, he issued instructions for action to be taken against a
class IX teacher for not making amendment in the marksheet of Su Prachi Pimpalkar of Saunsar of Chhindwada district in which her father’s name was wrongly filled.
Grant amount was paid to farmer Bhaurao for buying an electric pump at Ambari village in Chhindwada district. It was told that the committee manager has been removed for not making payment of sale of gram on time to Prahlad Chandel of Dhaturiya village of Ashoknagar district. Aajam Singh of Harsawat village of Alirajpur district was made payment of the grant amount which he had not received from the Mati Kala Board.
Instructions were issued for a departmental probe against the Project Officer and District Programme Officer and a concerned anganwadi supervisor and assistant Class II in the case of Secretary of Maa Sharda self-help group Bhagrato of Baranjh gram panchayat of Anuppur district who did not receive the remaining amount of the Sanjha Chulha. He instructed to suspend one assistant and remove an employment assistant in the case of Hemraj Patele of Mohgaonghat village of Balaghat district who did not receive national family assistance amount after his father’s death. Instruction was given to suspend concerned Van Kshetrapal in the case of Daduram Baiga of Raipur village of Umaria district who did not receive the tendu patta collection amount.
On an application of Bhagwat Singh Parihar of Kalothar village of Datia district in which he complained that the villagers were not paying water cess for drinking water supply from the Group Drinking Water Scheme, CM Chouhan said that the villagers should be inspired to pay the cess.
