Employment assistants continue agitation at Chhapara Janpad ground

The strike called by employment assistants in support of their demand continues at Chapara Janpad ground. The employees are demanding merger and regularisation of employment before the State Government. The employees have been strike since May 15 but till date no attention has been paid by the State Government. According to information, the stirke has now entered the 19th day and protestors have pledged to intensify the agitation. It is informed that agitated employment assistants had given a memorandum of demand on May 9 informing about the strike and seeking order on their demand to merge them with panchayat secretary cadre and merger with district unit.


As no heed was given to the issues raised in the memorandum, the employees proceeded on indefinite strike hampering work in the region. At the dharna spot among the members and office-bearers present were Ishwar Singh Thakur, Balveer Nagley, Shivkumar Jhariya, Shivanand SIngh Thakur and other employees who raised slogans in support of their demand to draw attention of government.
