70 JNAU students feted for cracking NEET, ARS

FELICITATION ceremony of outstanding students of Jawaharlal Nehru Agriculture University (JNAU) for qualifying NEET and ARS exams. In 2018, around 70 students of JNAU representing different streams cracked NEET and national-level ARS exams and brought laurels to the University and State as well. Vice-Chancellor of University Dr Pradeep Kumar Bisen was the chief guest. He congratulated students and mentioned that may 170 students excel in these exams next year as of 70 for this year.

Dr Bisen also added that these bright students bring fame and glory to the university with their hard work. I salute these talented and meritorious students and wish them all the very best for future endeavours. Students who succeeded in National Eligibility Entrance Test (NET) and ARS examination conducted by Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi were presented a memento, certificates and pens.
In the welcome speech, Dr R M Sahu, Dean College of Agriculture Engineering said that knowledge and information should be carried on and passed on to the next generation students this will be greatest gratitude towards the teachers by students.

The function was presided over by Dr P K Mishra, Dean Faculty of Agriculture. Director Research and Instructions, Dr Dheerendra Khare, Dean College of Agriculture, Dr O M Gupta, Dr Atul Shrivastava were special guests. Dr Amit Sharma convened the programme, while Dr Anay Rawat proposed a vote of thanks. Dr Y M Sharma, Engg. Sharad Jain Dr Amit Shah and few others contributed in successfully managing the ceremony.
