Sex CD case: Punia for CBI inquiry under supervision of Supreme Court Judge

State Congress In-charge P L Punia said that the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) inquiry should be conducted under the supervision of a sitting judge of Supreme Court in connection with the sex CD case. Talking to local reporters in Ambikapur on Wednesday, All India Congress Committee (AICC) General Secretary Punia claimed that businessman Rinku Khanuja was tortured by the CBI during interrogation because of it he was forced to end his life. The Congress party demands that the sex CD makers and persons involved in distributions of sex CD must be sent to jail, Punia said. When the BJP feels it starts losing its political base, then the CBI is used by the ruling party to crush the opposition parties, he added. Without naming Janta Congress Chhattisgarh Chief Ajit Jogi, Puniasaid that the deceivers left the party and now the party is confident to form the next government in the state.The party workers are working at grass root level, he added. Punia informed that the party conducted “Sankalp Shivir” in 73 assembly constituencies of the state. Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee (CPCC) President Bhupesh Baghel said that the party leaders are being trained for booth management during “Sankalp Shivir”. Accusing the State government, Congress Legislative Party (CLP) leader T S Singhdeo claimed that 250 electric poles are being shifted in Ambikapur for Vikas Yatra.
