PM interacts with 15 beneficiaries of Gharkul project

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has talked with 15 beneficiaries of Gharkul Project that comes under Pradhan Mantri Aawas Yojana. The beneficiaries shared their views and problems with Prime Minister in presence of District Collector Ashwin Mudgal at Collector’s office.

They talked about how the construction work is going on and how much they are satisfied with the project and much more through a video conferencing.
Government of India has launched this Pradhan Mantri Aawas Yojana with a motive to provide home to every citizen of
this country. Charan Thakur informed that the project is underway in Katol taluka and total 601 Gharkul projects are sanctioned there.

Maps are already sanctioned for 125 Gharkuls in the taluka in which 60 houses are under construction. The project will be held in two stages.

The Government has dreamt that every single citizen should have their own house till 2022 and the first stage is already commenced in all over the country.
Government has provided 3.5 acres land to Katol Municipal Council for this Gharkul project from Minor Irrigation Department.

Shobha Gudhade, Nalu Ingle, Vimal Bhise, Anuradha Darbhe, Radha Dhawad, Rukhmai Meshram, Rekha Tonpe, Yogita Katkar, Vrinda Raut, Maya Wankhede, Pramila Chakor, Meera Jambhle, Ranjani Bondre, Kaushalya Raut and Rameshwar Dhawad talked with Modi during the video conferencing.
Ashok Kharade, CEO, Katol Municipal Council, Nitin Gaurkhede, Engineer, Rajendra Kale, Avinash Barse, Kailash Khante, Namdev Barai, Ashok Gaikwad and others were present during the event.
