BSNL-Patanjali mobile connection launched in Madhya Pradesh

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL)-Patanjali entered into a contract to launch reasonable mobile connection in Madhya Pradesh on Friday. The special feature of plan 144 is this that consumers will get 2G data per day. Along with this, plan also offers unlimited calling, 100SMSes per day, roaming facility and most importantly, it has validity of 30 days.

Addressing the press conference, Chief General Manager of BSNL Dr Mahesh Shukla said that a memorandum of understanding was signed between BSNL and Baba Ramdev’s indigenous brand Patanjali. It was after this that plan 144 has been launched. The other plans 792 and 1584 have been also introduced under which customers will get validity of 180 and 365 days respectively. He informed that mobile connection of said service will be available at all stores of Patanjali and at all customer service centres of BSNL. This mobile connection will be given to members of Patanjali Institution and Patanjali Swadeshi Samridhi Card holders.

Common citizens can also take said mobile connection by purchasing Patanjali Swadeshi Samridhi Card which costs Rs 100 and is available at all stores of Patanjali and BSNL’s customer service centres. Moreover, customers will get 10 per cent cash back on Patanjali products if they purchase Patanjali Samridhi card. Apart from this, customers will also get insurance cover of Rs 5 lakh. Replying to media questions, he said that BSNL customer base will get boosted after the MoU with Patanjali and its share value would also increase. Moreover, he told that BSNL is also in talks with some other brands to sign MoU on the lines of Patanjali. On this occasion, State President of Bharat Swabhiman for Madhya Pradesh (West), Rajendra Arya, State President of Bharat Swabhiman for Madhya Pradesh East, Karan Singh Pawar and other BSNL officials were also present.
