Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, on Saturday participated in the programmes organised by Swargiya Dada Ishwardas Rohani Seva Samiti on 72nd birth anniversary of former Speaker of State Assembly, Ishwardas Rohani.


The Chief Minister garlanded the statue of Rohani at Empire square. Later, he felicitated meritorious students. He also distributed benefits to a number of beneficiaries. The CM also distributed sewing machines to widows.After the programmes, a blood donation camp, health check up and eye check up camp was organised at Government Hospital Ranjhi. As many as 258 youths have donated blood. It would be handed over to Victoria, Elgin and Medical College Hospital for providing it to needy people.


During the camp, nearly 1978 people under went medical examination and were also given medicine. MLA Ashok Rohani also felicitated 450 meritorious students and distributed tri-cycles and hearing aid to needy.


Health check up, eye check up and blood donation camp would be organised at Khalsa Higher Secondary School, Sadar on Sunday. Swami Girishanand Ji Maharaj would inaugurate the camp. Senior doctors of a number of hospitals would render their services.
