Congress Member of Parliament Jyotiraditya Scindia took on Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for dreaming Congress-free Madhya Pradesh by saying that he did not want BJP-free Madhya Pradesh, rather he wants BJP in the role of a strong Opposition as strong Opposition is needed to keep ruling party alert.

Scindia was addressing mediapersons during ‘Meet the Press’ programme organised by Central Press Club in State capital on Saturday. However, he fumed when was asked to question regarding BJP making jibe against his royal family in the wake of epic freedom struggle of 1857.
“BJP should also pose same kind of question to my aunt, who is Chief Minister of Rajasthan, and if it is having any kind of difficulty in contacting her then there is another aunt of mine who is a minister in Madhya Pradesh who could be approached by BJP,” he said.

Making a blistering attack on BJP, he alleged that if Congress did decentralisation of power then BJP did decentralisation of corruption in Madhya Pradesh. He also demanded CBI investigation in Mandsaur firing incident and into the case in which farmer was set ablaze by some influential persons in Berasia area of Bhopal.
Claiming total breakdown of law and order situation, Scindia told that now even minor girls are not safe in the State. Talking about sensational rape incident with a minor school girl in Mandsaur, he said now it has come to fore that two youths were involved in the incident. Censoring Mandsaur incident in strong words he said such strict punishment should be handed out to the accused that no other criminal minded person can even think of committing such incident.

Training guns at Modi government at the Centre, he told that it is a government of ‘doodh, paan and pakoda’. Leaving no stone unturned to nail down BJP government, Scindia claimed that Rs 200 crore were squandered in the name of investors’ meet but hitherto not even a single unit has been established.

“This time voters have made up the mind to uproot ruling party,” he asserted. When asked that MP Congress incharge Deepak Babaria has claimed that if Congress comes to power, then Surendra Chaudhary will be made Deputy CM, he told he does not know that any such decision has been taken in the party.
