Ban porn sites to protect youngsters from vulgarity, says Nandkumar Singh Chouhan

“Increasing number of rape incidents mirrors diminishing values in the society. Madhya Pradesh Government took lead in proposing capital punishment for rapists and the same was approved by Bharatiya Janata Party-led NDA Government. Framing strict laws is inadequate to check this practice but the country needs collaborative efforts from every section of society to protect young generation from uncultured, unethical and illegal practices. Government should take stern measures to ban porn sites available on internet to protect youngsters from vulgarity”, says Nandkumar Singh Chouhan, Member of Parliament and former State President of Bharatiya Janata Party, while addressing a press conference, on Monday.Nandkumar Chouhan said that being the best means of knowledge, internet and social networking sites are the root cause of imparting vulgar information which must be restrained to check the menace of increasing mental vulgarity in youngsters and adolescents.


He informed that BJP Government is sensitive towards protection of girls and made law of capital punishment to rape accused as accused of rape incidents in Indore and Sagar were sentenced death penalty but the problem could not be solved without social participation. There is a need of collaborative efforts from public representatives, social and non-government organisations to come forward for creating public awareness about banning the use of porn literature on internet. It is the responsibility of parents to keep eye on their wards for misuse of internet on smart phones to protect them from vulgar practices.Replying to a query, Chouhan said that the party office-bearers and workers who took membership of Shivsena due to their own frustration of not fulfilling their vested interests. BJP is working with the only spirit of nationality and there is no space of vested interests of leaders and workers. He added that higher authorities will decide the candidature in forthcoming elections but only promising candidates will be the priority to register big victory in the forthcoming assembly elections.
