Cheating on pretext of providing jobs

In a case of cheating two unemployed youths to the tune of Rs 4 lakhs in the name of ward boy job in Gariaband district hospital, the accused 33-year old man identified as Channu Lal Lahre, resident of Chaitara village, located in the limits of Fingeshwar police station, Gariband, has been arrested by
Raipur police, which revealed that the accused, who projected to the complainant victims Kush Patel and Anil Yadav that he knew high officials, had even given them fake appointment letters.


The accused had shown the complainant his styled appointment letters and demanded money and even gave them copies of the letter. Believing the accused Channu Lal, the complainants gave Rs 4 lakhs to him. This appointment letter contained information that interview would be over mobile phone. The complainants later came to know that the appointment letters were fake ones and no advertisement was released for appointment of ward boy in that hospital.The complainants when went to contact the accused at his village, came to know that he had cheated several persons earlier in the similar way. On their complaint, a case of cheating was registered against the accused in Kabir Nagar police station. The accused presently resided at Bajrang Chowk, Mathpuraina, in the limits of Tikrapara police station.
