Rainfall drenches Bhopal and many other parts of State

Rains hammered Bhopal during evening hours on Monday. Earlier, day was partial cloudy and humidity was giving tough time to people. When rains started to drench city, people have a sigh of relief as rains subsided the humidity.When it was raining, it looked that rains are going to last for long time as entire sky was covered with dark black clouds but rains lasted only for around half an hour.In last twenty four hours, it had rained in many places of Hoshangabad and Jabalpur divisions and some places of Shahdol, Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain divisions. Few places of Rewa, Sagar division also received rains.


Balaghat, Kaknar received 7 cm rainfall followed by Malajkhand (6 cm), Kevlari, Seoni, Waraseoni (5 cm each), Nainpur, Kaknar (4 cm each), Katangi, Nepanagar, Sarangpur (3 cm each) respectively. Weather Department said that rains and lightening activities accompanied by gusty winds are likely in many places of Indore, Jabalpur, Shahdol, Hoshangabad divisions. Rains are also likely in few places of Sagar, Rewa, Ujjain, Bhopal, Gwalior and Chambal divisions. Heavy rains are likely in isolated places of Khandwa, Khargone, Burhanpur, Betul, Chindwada, Seoni, Balaghat, Mandla, Alirajpur, Badwani, Dewas, Raisen districts. Weather conditions are going to remain same till July 12. This means that, State is expected to get bountiful rains in coming days.


As far as local forecast for Bhopal is concerned then city is likely to rains along with gusty winds. Wind speed will be around 25 km per hour. As rainfall activities have revived in Madhya Pradesh, there is no end of happiness among people.Moreover, it is a matter of joy for farmers whose kharif crops needs water. As rainfall is taking place almost daily hence level of water bodies has started to rise.
