30 complaints received in Jansunwai

The Jabalpur Municipal Corporation (JMC), on Tuesday organised Jansunwai in the new conference hall at headquarters. A number of people attended Jansunwai and submitted complaints to senior officials.Following the direction of Municipal Commissioner, Chandramauli Shukla, Deputy Commissioner, R K Sharma along with senior officials of various departments received written complaints and listened people’s problems. The complaints were related to encroachment, water supply and uncleanliness.

The Deputy Commissioner informed that total 30 complaints were received during the Jansunwai and were forwarded to officials of concerned departments. He said some complaints were redressed at Jansunwai only. Sharma said though senior officials try to redress complaints at Jansunwai only but if complaints need further investigation and departmental process they are forwarded to related departments. Sharma said he has asked all department heads to redress the complaints on time so that people would not face further inconvenience.

It may be noted that the JMC organises Jansunwai at its headquarters on every Tuesday. Senior officials all departments present during the Jansunwai and try redress complaints during the day only. But if complaints take further investigation they forwarded the same to concerned departments and resolve the same within fixed time limit.
Officer Superintendent, H P Singh along with departmental heads were present during the Jansunwai.
