A media workshop was organised by the Electricity Department to publicise benefits under electricity bill waver scheme of Mukhya Mantri Jan Kalyan (Sambal) Yojana. Collector Anurag Choudhary addressing the media workshop said that the unorganised labourers who have registered themselves Mukhya Mantri Jan Kalyan Sambal Yojna should registered also in Electricity Department by July 15. So that as per scheme they could be given electricity remission till June 30. District Collector, Anurag Chaudhary in the meeting asked the media persons to promote the scheme at their level so that maximum unorganised labourers can be benefited.


The Collector expressing concern over the insufficient Senior Doctors’ in district hospital to attend patients suffering from chronic diseases, has asked the Senior Doctors that under the DMF Fund if they wanted to get appointed in the district, they would be given houses and salary Rs. 2 lakhs to 5 lakhs per month. He said that some applications of AIMS’ Doctors have been received, for which two female doctors may get appointed. Thus, with their appointment in hospital the residents would get better medical facilities.During the workshop, Collector also expressed his views on various state’s public welfare schemes. He said that pregnant women registered under the Chief Minister Labourer Welfare Maternity Aid Scheme would be benefited with Rs. 4000, during their maternity period after checkups and Rs. 12,000 after delivery.
