BMA holds workshop on GST and Package Scheme of Incentives

Butibori Manufacturers Association (BMA) has organised an informative workshop on impact of GST on Package Scheme of Incentives (PSI) and procedures of Directorate of Industrial Safety & Health (DISH) for the benefit of its members. CA Milind Kanade, Secretary of BMA welcomed the officials and conducted the programme. Nitin Lonkar, President of BMA briefed the member about PSI and DISH requirement. The speakers were A P Dharmadhikari, Joint Director of Industries, Nagpur and Pallavi Gampawar, Deputy Director of Industrial Safety and Health, Nagpur.

Dharmadhikari explained intricacies of PSI-2013, its eligibility and impact of GST in present scenario. He further explained various industrial policies including Women Policy, SC/ST Policy, Logistic Park Policy and Industrial Park Policy. Gampawar stressed the need for registration of industries under Factory Act and rules and regulations of the said Act. BMA expressed the need for hand holding of industrial fraternity towards compliance of law.

Prominently present were Yuvraj Vyas, Pradeep Raut, Nishtha Khandelwal, Praveen Chourasiya, Rakesh Surana, C P Sarkar, Jeevan Ghime, Prashant Meshram, Alkesh Saraf and S M Kulkarni and senior officials from corporates Rapid Lubricant, Reliance Power, Calderys India, Spacewood, Indo Rama Synthetic, Shilpa Steel etc. The vote of thanks was proposed by CA Milind Kanade.
