Deceased clerk’s kin gherao police station

The family members of the deceased clerk of Rural Engineering Service, who died after being hit by speeding car of Additional District Judge made gherao of Kamla Nagar Police Station on Sunday morning. The family members were demanding to make the son of the Judge as an accused in the case. The kin left after the assurance from senior police officials. Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Dharmendra Chaudhary said, “If son of the ADJ was found guilty in the case, he will be definitely arrested.”

Notably, deceased clerk Ashok Mahore, 50, a resident of Prempura, posted as clerk in Rural Engineering Service, died on Saturday on the 6th day, while undergoing treatment at Siddhanta Hospital after being hit by a car on Bhadbhada road. Mahore was hit by the car registered in the name of Raveendra Kumar Bhadrasen, II Additional District & Sessions Judge of Bhopal District Court. According to police, Harshit Kumar, son of the judge, was driving the car when the accident took place.

Kin of the deceased alleged Kamla Nagar Police of protecting the accused as two accused were nabbed by locals after the incident. Pawan, the elder son of deceased, alleged that Kamla Nagar police had set both accused free from the police station and booked an unknown driver in the case. However, after the death, DIG Choudhary directed the police to nab the accused. Following the orders of senior officials, police nabbed Harshit from his home located at Shyamla Hills.
