Never get disheartened with failures, move ahead with confidence: CM

“NEVER get disheartened with failures and have the courage to move ahead in life. If one path is closed then thousands of other options open,” said Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan while addressing students participating in third phase of counselling under Chief Minister’s Career Counselling Initiative- ‘Choo Lenge Aasman’ at Government Subhash Higher Secondary School of Excellence premises in the State capital on Tuesday.
Notably, career counselling is combined efforts of the School Education, Higher Education, Technical Education, Tribal Welfare and Skill Development Departments. Counselling has been organised for students of class XII who could not score desired results.


BE PREPARED TO CREATE HISTORY: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan told that a huge employment fair will be organised to make employment available for one lakh children on August 4. He administered resolve to students to move ahead with fresh energy. He said that time and circumstances keep changing. Always try to be good in whatever you do in life. Do not allow disappointments to wander near you. Keep the passion to move forward and be prepared to create history. He said that unique schemes have been floated for students so that they do not have to discontinue education due to lack of funds. If they wish to start their own enterprise, they should not face any difficulty. He said that there are several fields where there is constant need of skilled persons. Choose such fields and make renewed effort without fearing about the consequences. Those who continue to make efforts will never fail.


CONTINUE TO MOVE FORWARD: Quoting Swami Vivekananda, Chouhan said that nothing is impossible in this world. He said that there is no need to feel disheartened. There is no need to pay attention to people’s comments if one fails to achieve desired results. He urged parents not to underestimate their children if they score less. There is no death of talent in them. He said that God has given talent, intelligence, capacity and energy to every child. He told students to have faith in themselves. There are many alternatives, many roads. Continue to move ahead. Citing an example of great personalities of the world, he said that these personalities are remembered by the world for their great deeds which they achieved despite failing initially. He said that one should shun ego, have patience, enthusiasm and faith in oneself. This is the mantra to move ahead in life.


HALL TO BE CONSTRUCTED FOR SMART CLASS: CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced construction of a hall for 200 children for smart class in Government Subhash Higher Secondary School of Excellence. He replied to students’ queries present at career counselling centres in various districts of the State and provided guidance to them. Minister of State for School Education and Technical Education Deepak Joshi said that several schemes have been prepared under guidance of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan to move ahead in the field of education and skills. Avail benefits of these schemes and shape up your career. Chairman of Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) S R Mohanty told that first phase of counselling was organised from May 21 to 31 in which 29,478 students with above 70 per cent marks took part. In second phase of counselling from June 8 to 15, students who scored up to 70 per cent took part. In third phase of counselling, children who failed to score desired result took part. The third phase of counselling is going on in 355 centres. Chairman of Madhya Pradesh Rozgar Board Hemant Deshmukh, Principal Secretary School Education Dipti Goud Mukherji, Principal Secretary Tribal Welfare S M Mishra and senior officers were present on the occasion. Commissioner Public Instructions Jaishree Kiyawat proposed a vote of thanks.
