Entry given to ‘Tantrik’ in Assembly premises creates apprehension

The name ‘Tantrik’ had always been a matter of curiosity and apprehension, particularly whenever incidents like the one which had taken place at Burari in the national capital comes to fore. Today at the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly, when a person, who appeared and dressed like a ‘Tantrik’, was given entry into the premises, he became a matter of interesting discussion among the people present there.


His entry into the Assembly premises was even raised by Congress Legislator Brihaspati Singh in the House. Raking up the issue, he said a ‘Tantrik’ sort of person is roaming within the Assembly premises, it is a matter of concern. To his remarks, Speaker Gaurishankar Agrawal replied that he had met the said person and he is a respectable person and there should be no apprehension due to his appearance. The Speaker remarked that he had even snapped a picture with him.


Later talking to The Hitavada, the said ‘Tantrik’, identified himself as Ramlal Kashyap, a resident of village Mulmula in Pamgarh Assembly segment under Janjgir Champa district. Apart from running an eatery, viz, Hotel Hari Om Jalpaan Grih in village Mulmula, he is the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha Mandal President of village Mulmula.


When asked about the reason of his visit, he said he had come to witness the working of Assembly. He further added that he is going on Amarnath Yatra on August 1, with a resolution that Bharatiya Janata Party comes to power for fourth consecutive time in Chhattisgarh. When asked since when he is this appearance, he said he is in this attire since last 20 years. He said the ornaments which he is wearing, collectively weighs around 10 kg and he keeps his whole head smeared with vermillion.
