Mayor inspects work on open theatre near Bhawartal garden

Reportedly, Jabalpur city is gradually clinching to become a smart city as another big hamper for citizens is in the pipe with construction for the first open theater has been initiated. The open theater would prove of immense worth to people as far as amusement is concern. On Wednesday JMC Mayor Dr Swati Godbole along with MIC member carried out inspection of ongoing construction spot situated near Bhawartal garden.
According to information, the construction of open theater that would be in accordance with the norms of smart city concept for Jabalpur has finally gathered momentum. Mayor Dr Swati Godbole along with along other MIC members visited at the construction site and sought information on various stages of construction. She instructed the construction agency to ensure that the construction is accomplished within stipulated time frame and must adhere to standard norms of construction. NO compromise with inferior quality construction would be made she warned the construction agency assigned with the responsibility of constriction.

She said the open theater would prove a major hamper for Jabalpur people as by virtue of open theater would not prove of worth to People from the city but would prove adequate platform for artists from other cities would pave way to organize series of cultural events.AT the time of inspection Mayor Dr Swati Godbole was accompanied along with MIC members Naveen Richariya, Rekha SIngh Thakur, Durgadewi Upadhaya, Sanjay Tiwari director smart city, CEO Gajendra SIngh Nagesh, Executive Engineer Kamlesh Shrivastava, zonal officer Bahubali Jain, Ravi Rao and others. It is informed that under the guidance of JMC Mayor series of development projects having direct bearing with smart city concept have been initiated would provide new look to the city. Multilevel car parking, mini auditorium grand building of smart city office have already been made in Jabalpur.
