Three-day 20 hours mediation refresher programme begins in Bilaspur

RAIPUR

Three-day 20 hours mediation refresher programme for judicial officials and lawyers has begun at the Conference Hall of Chhattisgarh State Legal Services Authority (CGSLSA) Bilaspur on Thursday. The refresher programme is being organised by the CGSLSA and Committee for Monitoring the Mediation Centre of High Court of Chhattisgarh. Judge of High Court of Chhattisgarh and Executive Chairman of the CGSLSA Justice Pritinker Diwaker inaugurated the refresher programme.


Speaking on the occasion, Justice Pritinker Diwaker said that the refresher programme would help judicial officials and lawyers resolve disputes between two parties through mediation. Committee for Monitoring the Mediation Centre of High Court of Chhattisgarh Chairman and Judge of Chhattisgarh High Court Justice P Sam Koshyand Member of Committee for Monitoring the Mediation Centre Justice R C S Samant also spoke. Secretary of Committee for Monitoring the Mediation Centre and Registrar (Vigilance) Deepak Kumar Tiwari gave the welcome address. Member Secretary of the CGSLSA Vivek Kumar Tiwari proposed a vote of thanks.


Under Secretary Shweta Shrivastava conducted the proceedings. VP Johari of Delhi, Tarti Baran Kar and Rajesh Das are imparting training to the judicial officials and lawyer in the programme. Justice Rajani Dubey, Justice Vimla Singh Kapoor, Bilaspur District and Sessions Judge N D Tigala, lawyers Dr Nirmal Shukla, Abhishek Sinha, judicial officials, lawyers and law students attended the inaugural programme.
