The Divisional Commissioner has instructed to the Collector of concerned districts to identify people of special backward scheduled tribes and ensure payment of financial aid to them since December 2017

Divisional Commissioner, Ashutosh Awasthi reviewed the financial assistance scheme of Government of Madhya Pradesh of Rs 1,000 provided to Baiga, Bharia and Seharia families the Special Backward Scheduled Tribes every month for proper nourishment, on Thursday. Divisional Commissioner reviewed the scheme through Video Conferencing.The Divisional Commissioner has instructed to the Collector of concerned districts to identify people of special backward scheduled tribes and ensure payment of financial aid to them since December 2017.


The beneficiary amount should be deposited in bank account of women member of the family. Every family member should be informed about the scheme. Publicity of scheme should be done in far flung villages. At main points informative hoardings, banner, posters should be installed.


The members of these communities should be invited in Vikas Yatra program of State Government. No family should be left from availing the benefits of scheme. Collector, District Panchayat, Chief Executive Officer, Assistant Commissioner, Tribal Development should ensure regular monitoring on the execution of scheme and time to time inspection should be done in Tribal dominating areas. He warned the officials that he would conduct review of scheme implementation during tour and different meetings. In the video conferencing Collectors, Jila Panchayat CEOs, Janpad Panchayat CEOs, Tribal Welfare Department Officials including Assistant Commissioner, Joint Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, Tribal Welfare of Balaghat, Dindori, Chhidwara and Mandla districts have
participated.
