IIT­HOME conducts ‘Gyananjali 2018’

IIT­HOME organised a motivational­cum-cultural felicitation programme, ‘Gyananjali 2018’, to felicitate its students who performed splendidly in this year’s JEE Main, JEE Advanced, BITSAT and other exams. The programme was held at Divisional Sports Complex, Mankapur on July 1, at at 5:30 p.m. The event saw an audience of approximately 5,000 people, which included students and their parents. ‘Gyananjali’ is an all students’ programme organized by alumni of IIT­HOME. In all about 150 graduating students and alumni from IIT-HOME participated in various performances of Gyananjali, which are designed to portray the passion, creativity and diversity of budding engineers.


The function was graced by a distinguished personality Dr Pramod Padole as chief guest. Padole has recently took over charge as the Director of VNIT, Nagpur. An alumnus of 2002 batch of IIT-HOME, Shantanu Kanhe, Assistant Vice President at Axis Bank, attended the function as student guest. The dignitaries were accompanied on dais by Nisha Kothari, the Founder and the Managing Director of IIT-HOME. The function began with the traditional lamp lighting and SaraswatiVandana, followed by a welcome dance, song ‘Junoonhaitera’, by girls and boys group dance and then culminated with a drama. Technical presentation and technical show were also held. Dr Padole enlightened the graduating students about research scenario in engineering field. The Student Guest addressed the students and guided them for doing great in their lives ahead. The dignitaries on the dais then felicitated students. IIT-Home has been continuously ensuring that each of it students works upto the maximum of their potential and bring out the best in them.
