Institute of Cost Accountants fetes successful students

THE Institute of Cost Accountants of India, Nagpur Chapter recently organised a programme to felicitate 60 successful students for the term from July to December 2017 in foundation, intermediate and final examination of Certified Management Accountant (CMA).A grand felicitation ceremony was hosted at CMA Bhawan, Laxminagar to honour the students of Institute of Cost Accountants for their excellent performance in the examination held in December 2017, at Nagpur Chapter of Cost Accountants on July 2, 2018. The 60 students and their parents enthusiastically participated in the programme. The students were conferred with a certificate and memento of appreciation. Oral coaching classes for the term from July to December 2018 for all the groups was also inaugurated.


CMA Shriram Mahakaliwar, Secretary Western Region, CMA P S Patil, Director of Studies, CMA Anil B Verma, Secretary NCCA, CMA Renu Kulkarni and CMA Ashok Behra, Treasurer graced the occasion.The felicitation ceremony began with the lighting of the traditional lamp. All the faculties of Nagpur Chapter of Cost Accountants (NCCA) CS S V Joshi, CMA Renu Kulkarni, CA Swati Gudhade, CMA Aditi Sontakke and CMA Mamta Thanekar were also felicitated for their continuous guidance to the students. CMA P S Patil said, “Professional excellence goes beyond the passing of the CMA exam. It includes the ability to cope with the changing world and to be well equip for the future.” He also focused on all round development of students pursuing the CMA course.


CMA Anil B Verma advised the students to be regular in the class, disciplined, devoted and dedicated in studies. CMA Shriram Mahakaliwar emphasised on soft skilled development and practical knowledge. He reiterated that the students must take full benefit of the Chapter. Those who were registered earlier but still intend to study can attend the classes without any fees. He also suggested ways on how to study and get the success in the CMA exam, informs a press release issued here by the The Institute of Cost Accountants of India, Nagpur Chapter.The programme was well attended by more than 60 passed out students along with their parents. CMA Renu Kulkarni conducted the proceedings of the programme. CMA Adity Sontakke proposed the vote of thanks. The programme concluded by singing the national anthem.
