Collector checks arrangements: CM’s visit

District Collector Mukesh Kumar Shukla directed officers of various departments to visit villages and learn problems of villagers and then try to resolved the problems on-the-spot. He issued these instructions to officers during his visit to Birsinghpur, Nagod and Uchchera. The Collector visited these areas in view of possible tour of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan to any of these areas on July 18 and 19. He was accompanied by SDM Omnarayan Singh, SDM Balveer Raman, Tehsildar Laxmikant Mishra, Executive Engineer, PWD HL Verma, CEO, Sohawal Rajeev Tiwari, CEO, Uchchera Divya Tripathi and other departmental officers were present. The Collector further visited many play grounds where public meeting of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan could be organised. The Collector directed officers for cleanliness, barricading, security, seating arrangements, proper approach rods to the possible venues of public meeting of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

The Collector visited Birsinghpur, Jaitwara, Kothi, Mohar, Nagod, Uchchera area and villages Deedon, Barhana, Jhali, Teekar, Singhpur square, Karahaia Khurd, Katkon, Patwara, Shyamnagar, Paundi and other villages. Chief Minister Chouhan, during his visit to this area, might pass through these villages to interact with villagers, The Collector asked officers to hold camps in these villages and resolve their problems. He asked officers to remain ready to solve problems of general public at that very moment as negligence in this regard would not be tolerate at any cost. He directed CEO, Janpad to prepare village profile.The Collector visited 390 km in two days to take stock of the preparation for the proposed visit of Chief Minister.
