Dhurvey gives away aid to tendu leaf collectors

Minister for Food, Civil Supply and Consumer Protection Omprakash Dhurvey distributed water bottles, sarees and footwear to tendu leaves collectors in a function held at Bhanpur village panchayat of Amarpur Janpad and also distributed bonus worth Rs 51,78,000 among tendu leaves collectors was also done.On the occasion, Amarpur Janapd Vice President Man Singh Dhurvey, Akash Namdev, Sanjay Janghela, Mohd Haroon Khan and others dignitaries were present. Minister Dhurvey said that during BJP rule, tendu leaves collectors are getting justified dues of their hard works as not only their wages has been hiked but they are being given share of profit also in form of bonus. To ensure that tendu leaves collectors have basic amenities while plucking tendu leaves in dense forest area, state government is giving them water bottles, saris, footwears.


He informed locals about other welfare schemes of state government specially Sambal Yojna under which workers registered in the Mukhya Mantri Jan Kalyan (Sambal) Yojana will be eligible for the Saral Bijli Yojana. These workers will not be charged for new power connection. Eligible consumers will have to deposit the amount of the actual bill when the electricity bill of Rs 200 or less is received by them. The beneficiaries will get the benefit of the plan from the payment of the July bill in August. He urged villagers to take benefit of Ujjawala Yojna as Central government is aiming to give gas connection to poor families so that ladies of poor families get rid of smoke which they have to face while cooking in earthen stoves or chulhas. He informed that by year 2022, each homeless would have ‘pucca’ house. He advised villagers to visit village panchayats and see the list of beneficiaries of Pradhanmantri Awas yojna, if their names are not present then they should get their names enrolled to seek benefits of this scheme. .


Minister Dhurvey said that now Bhanpur village panchayat is connected to Amarpar Janpad and Samnapur through ‘pucca’ roads and hence villagers can have connectivity all year round to district headquarter. On the occasion, Minister gave away certificates to beneficiaries of Saral Bijli and Sambal Yojna. He made collectors wear footwear during the function.
