Our Correrspondent,

Kareli,

The deplorable condition of approach road connecting Kareli city via village Imalia to the four lane road causing trouble for the villagers and commuters using the road. The residents are
demanding for repair since long while ignorance towards their justified demand creating ire amongst locals.
In social media the local have started a campaign to boycott the coming assembly elections, if the road is not repaired, prior to the elections. The locals have decided to stage protest movement staging dharna, demonstration, road blockade, strike and even indefinite strike.

The rural are facing sheer negligence since last 15 years and are getting just assurances on the demand of repairing of road. Continuous ignorance on the part of concerned authorities is causing resentment amongst rural. The present condition of road not only reflects the poor will of public representatives while also administrative will to repair an important road for the development of city that connects the city with main stream of transportation.
Across the road big potholes have been created and in rainy season even movement on this road becomes tough for commuters due to filth and slippery mud filled pot-holes got created on road.

Since long locals are demanding for construction of cemented model road on this approach road.
Local public representatives Madhusudan Paliwal and Imalai Sarpanch informed that the proposal of road connecting Motinullaha, Kareli via Immalia village to fourlane cut point road DPR, estimate is pending for approval in the PWD department. The Minister Incharge of District is the Minster OF PWD but are of no avail. In the new proposal the department has changed the estimate and in new DPR the road proposed is asphalted road. Locals are demanding to construct road using cement in residential areas.

Janpad Member, Monoj Patel have appealed all the villagers support the movement to press demand for repairing and construction of cemented road.
