First phase of Jan Ashirwad Yatra will be taken out from July 14 in Ujjain division

PREPARATIONS for Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s proposed Jan Ashirwad Yatra are in full swing. BJP workers and leaders are working since last 10 days in Ujjain for this yatra which will be flagged off by BJP National President Amit Shah on July 14. CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan will embark on this ambitious yatra after paying obeisance to Mahakal. Convenor of Jan Ashirwad Yatra and Rajya Sabha MP Ajay Pratap Singh informed that since last 10 days war-level preparations are underway in Ujjain for Jan Ashirwad Yatra. This yatra will pass through all 230 Assembly seats. In every Assembly constituency, there will be one public assembly.

In total, CM Chouhan will address more than 700 public rallies during the yatra. The 55-day-long yatra will culminate in Bhopal on September 25. First phase of Jan Ashirwad Yatra will be taken out from July 14 till July 15 in Ujjain division. Second phase of yatra will be taken out from July 18 and July 19 in Rewa division.

During this yatra, Chief Minister Chouhan will meet people and appeal them to vote for BJP and bless it to form Government for the fourth time in a row in State. CM Chouhan will reach Mahakal temple at 1 pm on July 14 to pay obeisance to Lord Mahakal.

Notably, in last Assembly elections, the CM had taken out Jan Ashirwad Yatra to apprise people about various welfare works done by the Government and sought people’s blessings for success of BJP in elections.

BJP got overwhelming support and succeeded in defeating Congress. The Yatra taken out in last Assembly elections, Chouhan could not cover all Assembly constituencies but this time, he has planned a strategy in such a way that all Assembly constituencies should get covered under Jan Ashirwad Yatra.
