School Education Deptt holds Job fair for youths

School Education Minister Kedar Kashyap on Saturday inaugurated a job fair organised by Samagra Shiksha Chhattisgarh. Students from different trades such as Retail Trade, Automobile and IT Trade were invited to the fair.
As many as 571 class 12th qualified students from Durg, Kawardha, Janjgir-Champa, Kanker, Bilaspur and Surguja participated in the fair.

Addressing the students, the Minister said that that for the first time school education department is organising job fair for higher secondary school certificate examination.
He said that job training programme has been initiated at 391 schools of the state. In order to promote vocational education, vocational lab construction in the schools was in full swing.

IT, Retail, Automobile, health Care, BFSI, Tele Communication, Agriculture and Media Internet etc. training is being given to the students, he said. The Minister congratulated the students for getting employment in private firms.
