Alert neighbour saves minor girl’s life

Thanks to promptness displayed by a youth residing in the neighbourhood, life of a 17-year-old girl who attempted suicide by consuming pesticide, was saved. The victim was rushed to Waraseoni Government Hospital and her condition is reported to be stable and out of danger. The reason behind the girl’s suicide attempt remains to be ascertained and the cops are waiting for further improvement in her condition before recording her statement. According to information, in village panchayat Vakodi under Waraseoni janpad panchayat, a minor girl tried to ned her life on Wednesday after her parents left home for work. Victim Roshni Panchewar is a student of class XII and was alone at home after her parents left. She allegedly consumed the pesticide kept in the house. Incidentally a youth residing next door peeped inside the room and found the girl lying unconscious on the ground. He immediately informed her parents working in the agriculture field and they rushed back home and took the girl to community health centre. The doctors examined her and found her condition serious and accordingly referred to Waraseoni Government Hospital for intensive treatment. Kept under strict medical observation, she regained consciousness and is reported to be out of danger. Police reached the hospital and carried out investigations and parents of the girl were questioned who negated any issue of mental stress. Meanwhile a case has been registered by the police under relevant sections and investigations are underway.
